About Us

Fenix Consulting Services Limited was established in its current form in April 2022, building on Gordon Wilson’s extensive experience in environmental and safety management.


Gordon began his career at BP in 2004, where he held various HSE roles, gaining a strong foundation in quality, health, safety, and environmental management. In 2011, he became a contractor for Total E&P UK, supporting drilling activities on the UK continental shelf. Since then, he has contributed to drilling campaigns and renewable traditional energy projects worldwide, including in Italy, the Netherlands, Uganda, and the United Kingdom.


With over 20 years of experience, Gordon is a qualified environmental auditor with expertise in environmental management systems (EMS), safety management systems (SMS), dropped object management (DROPS), environmental impact assessments (EIA), sustainable development, chemical assessment, energy efficiency, and carbon reduction. In addition to his professional credentials, Gordon holds a Master’s degree in Business Management, enhancing his ability to integrate strategic and operational insights into his work. Gordon is a UK national with French and Spanish residency and a US B1/B2 visa.

    Over a period of eighteen months, we carried out a comprehensive dropped object survey and management system review at multiple well sites in Italy for an end client’s contracted land rigs.

    We successfully conducted an offshore containment audit in the UK of the operator’s controls and barriers, significantly minimising the risk of an oil-based mud spill impacting the marine environment.

    Conducted remotely, we developed and delivered training on the key environmental aspects and impacts of drilling for oil and gas in the North Sea. Including terminology and major accident hazards.
